Experience

Experienced production sound mixer I have been recording sound for films in the cinema industry for more than two decades in France and abroad. I’m looking for demanding projects in which I can apply my extensive professional experience.

Educated in INSAS, renowned cinema school in Brussels, I learned to practice a flexible and open-minded approach on the set.

Philosophy

My philosophy for recording sound is to align with producers’ and directors’ artistic vision while supporting the technical and logistical aspects of the process.

My goal is to be the « ear » of the director on the set, to tune into the distinctive tones of each film’s soundtrack.

I’m focused on optimal dialogs recording with a clear and meaningful mixdown. I attach particular importance to wild tracks and atmosphere recordings, through any complementary sounds that can be useful in post-production.

In my crew selection I pay particular attention to technical skills and collaborative spirit.

My calm demeanor and diplomatic communication on the set are the assets recognized by my colleagues.

I practice healthy lifestyle to face the challenges of shooting in all conditions.

Equipment

I am closely involved in the equipment selection to adapt it to the specific needs of the film : geography, climate and the shooting budget.

I’m experienced with a wide variety of tools and I can easily adapt to diverse brand of microphones (DPA, Schoeps, Sennheiser or Neumann) and multitrack professional recorders (Aaton Cantar, Zaxcom Deva, Sonosax). I am staying up to date on the latest technologies and master technical improvements in radio transmitters/receivers (Lectrosonics, Wisycom, Zaxcom, Sound Device).
